Whenever a theatre purchases new tools or equipment, the first task is to build a road box to protect it. This has resulted in a traditional style of rugged, portable containers unique to the theatre world.  As the Head Builder for the 5th Avenue Theatre for almost a decade, I’ve had the pleasure of making dozens of these boxes to store anything from our Kabuki system and plasma cutter to the house speakers.

Designed with that style and functionality in mind, these work boxes are appropriate for a jobsite or home shop, and are customized to serve the needs of a specific owner.  The four box models shown here are already in use by local craftspersons and fabricators. These base model designs can be easily modified to fit your work needs for style, utility, and durability.
